What not to include in your profile!!

There are certain things that I hate about the way some players try to construct their profiles, and I will list them here so that you know what not to include in a profile that you create.

1 - No teenagers. Teens are good for only a few kinds of RP's, and serious adventure RP's like this are not among that short list. Teenagers lack wisdom, experience and skills that adults have, and therefore can never realistically be superior to their adult counterparts when it comes to combat, stealth, hunting and tracking, or anything really. So no teenagers.

2 - No over the top abilities. If you try and say that your character is "the best" at ANYTHING, that will immediately flunk your profile and you will have to change that detail. Nobody is the best at anything, so don't try to pass yourself off as the ultimate Elven archer, or the most powerful High Elf sorcerer. It don't work.

3 - No broken past. WAY too many people always want to say that "the parents were killed in front of them by *insert name here*", or that "something awful happened in their past" to give themselves an excuse to have their character be moody and unsociable. This is something I detest, and I will not allow any "loners" in my RP. If your character is designed to be a loner, then they will in fact be a loner in that they will never exist within the RP and they will never be seen by the public, just like they want.

If you avoid these three details, your profiles are almost certain to be accepted. In case it seems like I'm just being mean, let me be clear right now, I'm not. I am looking for serious, mature Role Players who are not afraid to have a character who is not untouchable and who is not the best at what they do. As was said in number 2, there are just too many people want to be "the best" at something and that is a sign of immaturity which is something that I absolutely cannot stand.
